Lake Paho Conservation area is located in central Mercer County, four miles west of Princeton on Highway 136.

Grand Trace Conservation Area in western Harrison County, two miles southeast of Martinsville off Highway F.

Wayne Helton Memorial Wildlife Area in Harrison County, nine miles east of Bethany on Highway 136 then three miles south on Route CC.

Each Conservation Area offers the following activities: hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, bird watching, outdoor photography, frogging, and picnicking. Hours of operation are 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
