American Legion Auxiliary Post 257 - The auxiliary meets the second Monday of each month at the American Legion building. 

Cainsville Community Betterment - A board of concerned local citizens established to preserve and improve our community for now and future generations in a progressive and friendly manner. Check out their brochure.

Cainsville Brownie Girl Scout Troop 259 (Mid-land Empire Girl Scout Counsel)  Organized in November of 1996, meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Christian Church Cottage. St. Joseph contact: 816.279.7438.

GFWC of Missouri, Inc. Twentieth Century Club - The GFWC Twentieth Century Club of Cainsville was organized in 1914, state federated in 1918, and general federated in 1921. Each year a local sophomore is sponsored to attend the Sophomore Pilgrimage Day at Jefferson City, Missouri. Twentieth Century hosts the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony for the community that is held every year on the first Saturday in December. Over 250 paperback books are kept in the Cainsville Community Room by the club for the public to read. The club helps support Girls' Town of Missouri. Grand River 4-H Club meets the third Thursday of each month. We participate in the local Cainsville Fair annually and perform community projects. Point of Contact: Glenda Mercer, Club Leader, 33206 East 222 Street, Ridgeway, MO 64481.

The P.E.O. Sisterhood - founded January 21, 1869 at Iowa Wesleyan College, Mount Pleasant, Iowa - is a philanthropic and educational organization interested in bringing to women increased opportunities for higher education. There are more than 5,783 local chapters in the United States and Canada with 251,985 active members. The educational and philanthropic purposes of P.E.O. are accomplished through international, state and local projects. The five projects of the Sisterhood are: P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund, Cottey College, P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund, P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education, and P.E.O. Scholar Awards. The headquarters of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and the P.E.O. Record (the official publication of the P.E.O. Sisterhood) are located in the P.E.O. Executive Office, 3700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312-2899.
